Achieving excellence through enjoyment

Academy Consultation

Our governing body is currently considering the proposal for Ludham Primary School and Nursery to convert to academy status and join Hartismere Family of Schools.

As part of this process, we are running a statutory consultation to gather the views of staff, parents, carers, and the wider community. This is your opportunity to learn more about what conversion would mean for our school and to share your views before any final decision is made.

How to Respond
We welcome feedback from all members of our school community. You can respond in the following ways:
Email head@ludham.norfolk.sch.uk with your comments and feedback
Drop a note into the School Office, marked for attention of the Co-Chairs of Governors

Welcome to our School website.  We hope you find it both informative and interactive as well as an accurate reflection of the values and ethos of the school.
As you browse the website, I hope you will, like us, be excited about all of the opportunities our school has to offer.

Ludham Primary School and Nursery is a successful, vibrant school, a school where children come first and I am extremely privileged to be the Head Teacher. We have a highly motivated, resourceful and committed team of staff, governors and parents committee who care about and nurture the needs of every child.

We want our children to be happy at school and for learning to be fun and challenging.  We set high expectations and want to give our children every opportunity to become confident, resilient and independent learners.  We work closely with parents to ensure this happens and recognise the importance of good communication between home and school.

Within our school site we are fortunate to have our own playing field, large playground, trim trail, woodland area and plenty of green areas in and around the school.

Our aim is to help the children to reach their full potential, to develop their social and emotional awareness and encourage each child to take part in our extra-curricular clubs and activities.  It is our intention to educate the children for life, not only for their school days.

We actively welcome new parents, parent helpers and all visitors to the school.  We have lots of plans for the year ahead, including the further expansion of our nursery and our Forest School provision and will keep you up to date with events and news as they happen.

I hope you find the information on our website useful, and that it will help us to form the beginning of a successful partnership in your child’s education.

We are extremely proud of our school and would be delighted to welcome you as part of our extended family.

We look forward to meeting you.

A Goreham
